Katarina Feketeova – Chartered Physiotherapist & Pilates

Pilates Rehabilitation

A Registered provider for Private Health Insurances.

Physiotherapy and Pilates: Although I am a Physiotherapist, I also teach Pilates. My interest in therapy began when I was playing football in my native Slovakia. I was getting injured too often and discovered that I had problems with my back and my joints.  When I came to London, I learnt the enormous difference that good Physiotherapy combined with Pilates can make.

It inspired me to train as a Physiotherapist, with a specialism in helping people with the kind of sports-related injuries I knew all too well. During my training as a Physiotherapist I studied and completed a Diploma in sports massage, and immediately began doing massages, in Private practice, for sports people, from Football, Tennis to Dancers, including a whole variety of people of all ages. Shortly after, I began my training in Pilates for Physio’s and started teaching my patients. Whilst I grew my real-world experience in hospital Physiotherapy NHS Departments. As well as working with individual clients, I’m the Team Physio for the London Bulldogs ice hockey team.   I also keep up my own sports (and I don’t get injured as much anymore! and my recovery is now much faster and better!).

I speak Slovensky, Cestina, Polish, Russian and of course, fluent English!I returned from Maternity Leave, after giving birth to my son early December 2014 and now a proud mum. Working in the NHS and considering returning to Slovakia. I am no longer available at The College Practice.
